General Information

Our programme offers a fun environment with a range of gymnastics, games and arts and craft activities, catering for children age 5 – 11 years old. All abilities are welcome, you may be a member of our Club or a newcomer – no gymnastics experience is necessary. If your child is new to the sport, our Holiday Programme sessions are a great opportunity to give gymnastics a go!

Your child will:

  • Have fun and build confidence
  • Explore and develop new gymnastics skills
  • Gain strength, agility & flexibility
  • Meet new friends in a safe environment
  • Use all large/small gymnastics equipment (sprung floor, balance beams, bars, vault, mini, trampolines, balls, hoops etc)

All sessions are supervised by our qualified gymnastics coaches.  Our coaches are energetic, enthusiastic, enjoy working with children and teaching them gymnastic based skills. For a guide to our programme please see the timetable below:

What to bring:

  • Food - Children should bring enough food for the day including snack breaks and lunch. Please do not pack any nuts as there may be children attending with food allergies. We are a rubbish free zone so please encourage your children to take all rubbish home with them.
  • Drink Bottle - Children should bring their own water bottles.
  • Hat and Sunscreen / Warm Clothing - If the weather allows, children will be able to have outdoor time on the playground. Please be sure to send them with sunscreen and a sun hat/warm hat and warm clothing (coat, hat and gloves) for cold but sunny days.
  • Shoes - Please send your child with shoes suitable for outdoor activities.

I have enrolled - what else do I need to know:

  • Please ensure the clothing is reasonably fitted. Please send your child with appropriate warm and cold weather clothing. It does get hot in the gym in summer and can be cool in winter so layers are good!
  • For safety reasons clothing should not have buttons, buckles or zips as these can catch on the equipment.
  • For safety reasons all long hair must be tied up.
  • Shoes are not allowed in the gym itself and children can wear socks or bare feet. For safety reasons, no socks on the apparatus please.
  • When the children arrive they can leave their shoes, bag, etc in the cubby holes near the door.
  • Parents are requested to sign children in and out using the sign in book provided, ensuring a contact number for the day is given.
  • If your child has any medical conditions or other concerns, please alert our staff when you enrol your child.
